These may be "emergency measures" to stop systemic failure, but we need to see the regulations that allowed these conditions to arise to be shored up. Put the regulations back in place so we "the people" are protected! When Trump removed regulations he opened doors for all sorts of ill advised and illegal behaviors.

Banks are businesses. They have become a like a spoiled 16 yr old child who wrecks they new car and mommy and daddy go buy them a new one. No lesson learned because there are NO consequences. There wasn't a govt bailout when people lose their businesses. This has happened during the Regan Admin, again in 2008, and now. Banks will continue to make bad loans and make bad decisions when they KNOW they will be bailed out. I saw this coming when they were giving out these home loans to people who really wouldn't qualify. Next will be a crash of the housing market like in the 80's and 2008.

Banks failing is another way for them to keep your money without consequences. If a company had 30million and the bank defaults and says sorry but heres 250k. Just seems like another illegal transfer of wealth to me.
