I believe it would be very helpful for a report on oil, it’s uses in American society and business, and why everyday Americans should REALLY reconsider future purchases of heavy fuel gobbling vehicles. I know there was an interesting French report that is over a decade old and it was astonishing how much of our lives revolve around that black gold. Your piece on this publication explains how POTUS is trying to slow the price hike of fuel and trying to help bring grocery prices down, but people don’t realize they are the same problem in one. If we don’t identify the causes to issues, then we are doomed to continue down the same bad road.
The nitrogen fertilizer the female farmer mentioned is synthetic and derived from oil. If people don’t stop burning through fuel like it’s going out of style, everything is going to get VERY expensive.
I think it would be beneficial for this report (if your network decides to do one) to provide some examples of alternative options consumers can consider to help the national economical effort. Ours is 215.9 a liter. A gallon is nearly 4 liters.
