To Miranda Devine… you’re a legend and keep up the awesome work. This is the only time i’ve heard you say something that didn’t quite sit right (but you’re totally free to say it bc it’s yo right) was about the hunter taking horse tranquilizer for rehab. from the description it sounds like ketamine which actually has been shown to have promise in treating addiction in some individuals (i forget the exact mechanism). It has a high safety profile is administered by a health professional correctly and as directed (newborn babies are given it in top hospitals bc so safe). At a time when health care and treatments/resources are most definitely lacking for the growing depression epidemic (thanks Sleepy Joe), this medication can be super helpful for treatment resistant depression, ptsd/anxiety, chronic body pain/inflammation (permanently diminishes one’s perception of pain after each administration – recently proven). I’d know this bc it saved me a few years ago when i was at the lowest point of my life after my 6th traumatic brain injury and not knowing if i’d ever come out on the other side okay
