Taylor is a multi-millionaire who was outraged enough to use her voice and platform to chew out Spotify over artists not getting enough of a cut from streams (which is fine), but wasn’t outraged enough to call off her fans from sending death threats and racist hate to the Ginny and Georgia actress whom Taylor threw under the bus with a tweet defending herself. (NOT fine). Used to love her but I’m soooooo disillusioned. Wish she would speak out on things that affect people other than herself.

Ticketmaster is the worst monopoly/scam in the entertainment industry. Tickets are sold via presale to ticket brokers who resell them for 20 times the actual value. I would not be surprised if Ticketmaster takes kickbacks from these resales.
Ticketmaster needs to be broken up. It's disgusting the extra fees they tack on to tickets.

Ticketmasters response is BS. they sent out the codes and new the demand. How could millions more show up to buy if you needed the code and link to get in. No doubt they intentionally did this to drive up ticket resell prices and get more fees. It’s a sad day for swiftie everywhere. So many of us left in the cold. Praying to get something during general sale but not banking on it. Never in all my years of buying tickets have I experienced anything like this.

Ticketmaster's merger cut out the middle man and legalizing ticket scalping by them. It's a sad joke at best they need to broken up to restore competition.

My experience- yesterday (the first presale) I was in it to win it for SoFi’s first show on 8/3, spending about 8 hours pacing because it was postponed almost at the exact time as the start time for presale, pushed back about 6 hours, only to get in and not get a ticket. Not a single ticket. After clicking on at least 60 different ticket options, it would load, then say someone has already snagged your tickets. I was hopeless. They ended up kicking me out cause the show sold out of presale, back to the normal countdown screen. I almost gave up till I realized my dad had a capital one card. I rinsed and repeated today. Had clear mind and entered the waiting room as a verified fan. I was in the queue when it hit 2pm and it moved fast, I clicked on the first set of 4 tickets I could find, and bought them with no problems (complete opposite of the day before) struggling a bit cause my dad had to send me a code. Regardless I got them and I’m so glad I did. They’re amazing seats, I paid $300 each (section c243 at sofi stadium). Ticketmaster is horrible, the whole experience was horrible and I hope Taylor learns to never use them for her ticketing ever again.

Ticketmasters has always been crap. Especially with their fees on top of the already high ticket prices. And most big name concerts are only for the rich nowadays anyway.

I got through the queue after 6 hours, and Ticketmaster gave me an error every time I tried to add tickets to my cart. At first they said another fan had snatched them, but then it kept giving me the error that I “couldn’t complete the request on this device.” I can’t purchase them on my laptop??? I tried to purchase tickets over and over until my venue was fully sold out. Ticketmaster is a scam. Congrats to those that got lucky 🎉 Ticketmaster needs to make this right for those of us that would’ve gotten tickets if it weren’t for their site.

Taylor nor her fans did this. Ticketmaster gave out the codes. No one without a code could get in. It wasn’t just the wait times. It was kicking people out, not accepting their computers. Error messages. The waiting can be dealt with. But having tickets being processed only to have the site not like your laptop, or done error is not right. Then with tickets being “processed” for checkout the site crashes. Instead of putting those people back in to process new tickets, they were punted to the end of the line and didn’t get tickets. This was not a demand problem! TM knew how many codes they gave out and had everyone online all at once trying to get tickets. TM needs to make this right.
This is absolute bullshit. I'm just as disappointed with Taylor as I am with Ticketmaster.

People who registered and got codes and selling them for an insane amount are not fans. Actuals TS fans that didn’t receive a code still have to wait and hope that they can afford it. Resales should be the same amount that they paid for it & not a stupid amount like 20,000.
