For a parent who has just lost a wife and my daughter has lost her mother my 18 year old daughter is studying and working has to get on with her life she knows deep down in her heart no one is going to give her any help, to succeed is her main objective for the memory of her mother,not one complaint has come from her getting out of bed and there is probably a lot more young people out there going through the same scenario and don’t complain,so to that young brat ,get on with life.
Just a thought,could this world we live in,is this really the best we can do as humans.Are we nothing other than lonely fools,cruel,greedy,chasing some paper bills,gold,diamonds,are those really the measure we need to use when deciding who is who,how the hell we have become this stupid,this acceptable to go along with this cruel,hateful,judging,shaming others,living in shame ourselves,never good enough..for who.Never enough if there is someone who might have something we don't.Never talking about the bs,the bloody way ,the lies ,the suppress in name of whatever,the division that's and has been rooted deep in our history as humans,where is the humanity,the collect love,empathy,Who the hell are we as humans if this is the best we have been able to do for each other,for world,with all the investment,all the invention,all what we have ,with all the money,with the human condition I find we are empty,scared,we don't trust,not yourselves nor others.We could be better,we should be better.We should start by being truthful to ourselves,we do not know everything but we got to stop playing this stupid.Take real responsibility of our actions,fears,wishes,greediness,mistakes.There must be more in this life than money,more than this stupid play where we are meant to go along or be ridiculed.Hate,shaming,playing along because you know no other way to live,still if you think about it-you really think that we as a human race cannot achieve anything else than money,work,injuctice,war,ultimate loneliness,people whom feel they are missing something,I can tell you-money will never fill that hole in your heart.People should have time to think,to get to know each other,to themselves,to other parts of the world,the system we live in,why we live like this,who has decided our goals-is it really you have you ever think about it.What are your values,is this world Aline with them…

My kid is 16. We’ve been on her to get a weekend job so she can get used to work. We made her older brother get a job at 16 and he adjusted to the reality that he has to work full time to support himself. He’s 18 and independently supporting himself to get away from our house rules which we’re not going to change when he became a legal adult. Very proud of him. 👍
