I think that DeSantis is actually throwing away his chance of being president in 2028. He should just stay in Florida and continue to do The marvelous things he's doing there. And support Donald Trump. But going up against Donald Trump I think is the wrong thing. It's not going to help either one of them. If he loses to Donald Trump. He will go into 2028 as a loser.
