Trump withheld information from Americans for months that COVID was here in America. He did that so the economy wouldn't suffer as much (meaning his hotels and businesses and his reputation as President). That caused the deaths of many people. There's blood on his hands.

This is all a political game for Trump. First of all, aid to Ukraine should not be bunched together with border reforms, but the lunatics we have in congress want both attached in the same Bill. The Senate doesn’t want that. They want both in their separate Bills. The GOP in Congress who are puppets tied to Trump’s strings won’t let that happen because Trump has told Johnson not to make any deals with the Democrats so as to not give Biden a win before the elections. They don’t give a damn about what happens at the border or anywhere else. Their goal is to make sure that the Dems don’t have a win before the elections. What does that tell you about the Republicans? Their there just for power. They don’t care about the country or you or anybody else. The Senate has come up with a Bill that would benefit everybody, but our clowns in Congress don’t want that because Trump doesn’t want that and like good loyal idiots, what Trump says, Congress does.

Schumer has had a bill sitting on his desk for a year now that he refuses to bring to the floor for discussion. The house passed this bill last January. I’d say it is the democrats holding it up. They could discuss the bill already presented, make amendments to it, etc but Schumer doesn’t want to allow any dialogue on it.

Historically the economy takes seven yrs to recover , if the Republicans didn't grudgingly claw back the child tax credit maybe the mothers could afford an apartment… when Trump gave the richest of the rich hugh tax cuts that resulted in the 1% making more than entire country combined it's no wonder regular people are broke. If this is about migrants and refugees, then it's not a border problem. It's a timely "path to citizenship" problem. A process which can take 20 – 50 years if you're from Mexico. Or as little as 6 years if you're not from Mexico. Wait times for Mexicans is expected to rise to 40 – 138 years if current processing times continue. And we're surprised because they sneak across?
Sneaking across, by the way, automatically makes them a criminal. So those scary "increase in crime rates" they use, are inflating actual crime statistics.
If it's about drugs we'd have to build fences and walls around the entire country, because more than half of the drugs entering the US do NOT come from the southern border.
