Rent in south Florida is insane. My current 3 bedroom 2 bathroom was 2.2k in 2020. Resigned in 2022 ands its 3,169. This isn’t even luxury living. It’s the basic apartment model. I don’t have stainless steal appliances; the security gate in my neighborhood is always broken and people’s cars keep getting broken into on top of that. This is what 2.2-3.5K buys you in south Florida. If you want something decent you will have to shell out probably 2.5K just for a studio or 4.5-6K for a 3 bedroom. With gas and food costs going up, Florida legislators need to do something. Locals are being priced out and I don’t see salaries going up to balance this out. Everything is Rip-off down here
