In my opinion, the Iranian protests are ill timed and will amount to little in the long run. All protests have an effect and I do hope I am wrong. But if you look at Arab Spring and what happened to that movement, it seems likely, given the current state of affairs in the world, that this will fizzle. I would LOVE to see regime change and a Democratic re-organization but I highly doubt that will happen. Here's hoping.
