No injuries were reported after a train plowed into a semitruck trailer in Texas on Sunday, causing the train to derail, according to the local sheriff’s office. Authorities said the train was carrying diesel fuel and oil, but there was no danger to the public and no chemicals were spilled or released.

I don't think enough people consider the physical and mental trauma this causes for locomotive engineers. I hope they were okay.

You gotta know how high your of the road…. I'm sure the float trailer got high centered going slow. Some are just an inch or two above the ground. Hopefully the driver got out… and Hopefully the engineers driving train survived.

They didn’t just stop on the tracks, it was high centered, poor call to cross over with a super load…once it’s caught it’s nearly miraculous to move it off… then fate steps in and the train rolls thru!
