Ever since Congress stopped doing their jobs the DOJ has likewise stopped doing theirs. Especially in the last ten years or so. Many active shooters advertising, sometimes for months, and nothing is heard from the DOJ until after the murders. Like in Uvalde not even until news organizations release the social media posts, then all the sudden they wake up and take action. It is actually pretty surprising that he was caught at all considering the state of homeland security right now.
