Seems like commenters don't understand why this is an issue and media should make it clear. When you go to the ER for any other reason besides covid or flu during the holiday season (like heart attach or stroke), there won't be a room to treat you. We need the equipment in the room so we can do our job. So to prevent this tripledemic, wear a mask. At least it'll prevent spreading the flu and RSV.

RSV is no joke, though. My daughter and I were diagnosed with it when our state was on it's 4th COVID case and the doc at the time said in 25 years he'd never seen so many cases as did he that year, and that it was odd I had contracted it, as it's usually something you primarily see in the youth. Honestly, I later though we were likely misdiagnosed and it was probably COVID, I'll probably never really know.
So now the government is make it up some other disease because they don't want to call it the flu
