Lawyers for former President Trump have asked a judge to continue blocking the Department of Justice from viewing the classified documents they seized in their search of Mar-a-Lago. NBC’s Ken Dilanian reports.

Here is what's so strange about Trump's tactics. If Trump was a man of integrity and ethics why is he trying to cover up so much? If Trump had nothing to hide why doesn't he just open up and let the necessary people do their work? Some may call it pride. Others stubborn arrogance. Then some Insanity. Maybe it's one or all of them bundled together 😉 there is one thing to be said about all the people that want to see Donald Trump indicted and put in prison. It won't happen. It won't happen no matter how much damning evidence they have on him. The core reason is the people pursuing Trump know the damage that can be wreaked to the social fabric of America. They are pursuing a very valid game. Is it wise to sacrifice one for the many? Or to sacrifice the many for the one? In this case they're thinking letting Trump go is far better that what can spill out on to the streets of America.

There was an urgency to retrieve the documents. In fact trump and his lawyers told NARA they gave them all back. They were lied to. If trump was actually honest he would have never taken anything without any actual permission, and then continue to lie to them for 18 months. The point is he stole Govt. secrets from the white house and should be held accountable for the laws he broke, just like if it was me who stole them. I'd be in jail, just like anyone else would committed the same crimes.
