Can we really stop all this and to the facts! No matter what they brought in the court for here's the truth. Whatever he valued his properties at, the banks gave him a loan. He paid back the loan on time and the banks made interest off of the loan. So where is the crime where there was a victim? So be careful, if you ever need a home loan and it gets valued at more it's worth "like that's never happened to anyone" and you paid the loan back on time with interest, you will go to jail ! Come on really. There is literally a box that the Trump team could have checked on what is called a Note of Issue form to request a trial by jury from the judge! THEY NEVER DID IT! I'll say this again for all intellectually challenged and willfully ignorant MAGA clowns.
Trump PROPERLY received a bench trial instead of a jury trial because on precisely July 31, 2023 the NY AG, Letitia James submitted a filing related to this case called a Note of Issue filing. On that form is a boxed section called the Notice for Trial section. Within that section are two choices that each have a box next to them. One is named "Trial by Jury" and the other is named "Trial Without Jury"! Letitia checked the box called Trial Without Jury, which meant she was asking for a bench trial by a judge to be held for this case. Trump and his attorneys, had they wanted a jury trial instead were then required BY LAW to submit their own Note of Issue form, and they would have had to check the box next to the option named "Trial by Jury" in order to instead request a jury trial and override James's request for a bench trial by judge. TRUMP AND HIS TEAM NEVER SUBMITTED THEIR OWN FOLLOW UP NOTE OF ISSUE FORM CHECKING THE BOX TO REQUEST A TRIAL BY JURY! That is reality whether you ignorant and delusional gullible MAGA morons want to admit it or not! If you do not believe that James filed the necessary form requesting a bench trial go onto the NY State Uniform Court System website and do a search for her filing dated July 31, 2023 (I'm even giving you low IQ MAGA dolts the date she filed it!). It's right there, and literally a 13 year old child in middle school could look this up with an internet connection in under 5 minutes.
All Trump's team had to do was file their own Note of Issue form requesting a Trial by Jury by checking that correct box on the form, but they did not. If you think they did or Trump thinks they made such a request produce the form and prove his team made that request. They can't produce such a form or such a request because they never made such a request and never filed a Note of Issue form of their own! HE GOT THE EXACT TRIAL THE LAW REQUIRED HIM TO RECEIVE BASED UPON THE FORM JAMES FILED AND THE FACT HIS TEAM NEVER FILED THEIR OWN FOLLOW UP FORM REQUESTING INSTEAD A TRIAL BY JURY! That is reality whether you gullible dolts like it or not!
Now, do we know why they did not file such a form? No. They may have missed it as an oversight or far more likely they saw James's filing for a bench trial request and they were ok with it. If it was a gross mistake and they really wanted a trial by jury why has Trump not fired and admonished the attorney in public that failed to make that necessary filing? Well, it's most likely because they themselves actually wanted a bench trial too, and now Trump is crying and lying about it because he lost and was found guilty of a decade plus long period of committing frauds. LOL 🙂
