I don't know which polical party is right or wrong on this one but its all about money. A company can't win a lawsuit because it dropped embryos so they turn it into a polical nightmare. Many cancer survivers depend on IVF to have children after treatment so in that context, they should be treated as children as it would have been a child had they not dropped it. Its not the same as an unwanted pregnancy. Instead of dealing with the mistake, they just stop all IVF treatments. Which is their way of saying, if they can't make billions of dollars, risk free then they just won't offer the service. Betting on peoples desperation to motivate politicians to get involved and give them a free pass to commit malpractice.
