Heres what I see: The protests are the Left’s version of the MAGA rally, and includes many of the people that confidently sat out 2016. It freaks Trump out that these rallies are not only not MAGA, they are implicitly anti-MAGA. The cycle of political revenge that is inherent in the logic of the 2-party system is beginning a cycle of legal revenge that will rip apart our country. Like in “shithole countries,” political victories become a way to avoid jail as well as jail ones opponents. What Barr is doing is putting the Dems in a situation where, if they win, they will be mandated by their voters to re-litigate all of the corruption that the Admin is taking part in. We should be ready for our new politics to evolve into full-on jail-or-be-jailed game. You will begin to feel this more acutely as we get closer to the election. Biden is already on record stating that he will hold the corrupt legally accountable. As he should. But with Trump on the legal ropes as such, its likely that he will get even more autocratic as November approaches. And if Trump wins (one way or another; or the election is delayed) Im guessing that he will likely attempt to enact some of these up-to-now empty threats against his political enemies (‘lock her up’). What I don’t see is Trump conceding. It will be hard to convince him that he lost and even harder to get him to leave, especially if he thinks that doing so will land him in jail (or even heavily investigated—we know how much he likes that). People think this speculation is hyperbolic, but do you actually see him lame-ducking with grace? I dont think so. I have to confess that one component of this logic of inevitability I draw from my experiences with people who have severe Narcissistic Personalty Disorder. This is very different from being “arrogant” or “overconfident.” The parameters for NPD are epistemological rather than emotional, creating in the sufferer an imbalance between Self and World which the brain/mind adapts to by altering how it processes both internal and external information. This is why DJT thinks that he came up with phrases(or even words sometimes) or ideas that have actually been popular for some time. Their brains interpret all novel external data as internally generated. To get them to do something you want you must convince them that its their idea (which is one reason why having people not gifted in this strange artform around DJT anymore is dangerous; if there were, they could likely convince him that listening to the protesters is a good idea by convincing him that it was HIS idea—because you cannot actually teach an NPD empathy, as it falls outside their epistemological parameters–this is not a judgment, this is about system mechanics) One sign that people do not understand NPD is that they keep accusing him of “lying.” The only time I feel like I truly saw him lie, in the sense that we understand it, was when he told reporters that he was taking Hydroxychloroquine. You can spot it all in his micro-gestures. Ive seen it thousands of times and he was absolutely lying there—-by “lying” I mean that he knows the he is lying, so “lying^2” with a reflective layer added. Its not that he “believes” what he says the way normal people do, its that the reflective temporal gap where people evaluate an occuring action can be adapted to fit whatever words that he impulsively vocalizes. This wild adaptation of unwanted or misunderstood information explains his penchant for conspiracy theories and will likely cause him to actually BELIEVE that an election must have been rigged if he loses. He is not lying, he is diseased. Since I began to observe him in 2017 and recognized the symptoms of his disorder shortly thereafter, I literally have not been surprised once by his actions. While everyone around me is in a state of constant and evolving befuddlement. And I mean everyone, probably you included. The difference between my paradigm and the others is not one of intelligence, its that I actually have observed, analyzed, even manipulated tbh, people with this disease. There is a logic to it, but if you don’t recognize it as the mechanical disease that it is, you won’t understand it. You will still be attempting to apply your own psychological experience as a frame of reference, and this will blind you to the reality. And add the narcissism-by-design structure of Twitter, you have his NPD feedback-amplified in ways that the average brain doesn’t have the mania to handle. You saw the tantrum he made when Twitter flagged him. I promise you that he’d make the situation violent if he were actually banned. Wild thought, but I believe it to be accurate(and keep in mind that his job isn’t professional tweeter or “influencer” which requires many hours spent on social media. He has a job already that should be taking up much of his time). I would argue that the only relevance of the election is in providing empirical proof to justify the inevitable forcible removal of POTUS 45. I think historians will look back and see that according to the retrospective logics of many unprecedented dynamics (social media augmenting most of them), that the coming perpetual conflict was set in motion as almost inevitable when Trump was elected. All that the country needed was a major catastrophe, like, say, a pandemic, to allow the guard rails to come off and twist an already-warped narcissistic mind into autocratic madness. Of course, nothing is certain, and we want to believe that the “spirit” of the American people will prevail. Maybe, but with 35% of the voters willing to go along with DJT, prevailing might entail taking actions that we have yet to fully consider the implications of. Removing him, no matter what we think of his supporters, will effectively negate their votes. And they didn’t vote for a placeholder Republican, they voted for Trump because he’s Trump, and nobody in the line of succession will match up. This is also the reason that Trumpism is dead once Trump is gone. It requires a leader with a level of diseased narcissism that you just cant fake. Ive been observing his possible successors and not a single one of them have the goods that will allow them the surreal logical flexibility to game the system like Donald. His power is his disease, and if others don’t have that disease on a fundamental level, it just won’t work for long. He is special. Horrible, but special. Just saying. Stay safe. Cheers!
