New revelations about the search of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home show “more than 300 documents” had “classified markings,” according to the New York Times. The National Archives posted a letter it sent to Trump lawyers back in January after Trump had sent them 15 boxes of documents. The letter said the boxes included 100 classified documents, 700 pages total, including “up to the level of top secret.” Trump has criticized the unprecedented search of a former president’s home, and called the DOJ investigation politically motivated.

I don't care what anybody saying why did the FBI wait so late to go get those documents? I would have went a man took all them papers like worrying about Trump he's a bum he's a Trader to the country and he needs to be in jail. Surely the person in charge of the documents is the one to be investigated. Classified documents are very low level. Even now when not returned in the specified time the issuer should have got them back. Add to that were the documents still classodied? I have seen security documents where important information has been removed but the security classification has remained on the paper.

A letter was prepared and signed by Trump's lawyers back in the summer 2022 that there wasn't anymore classified documents at Trump's residence. Fast forward to the search warrant/search of Trump's home – where MORE BOXES of government docs (including classified) were seized.
Seems, again, Trump's lawyers will need to hire their own lawyer(s).
