Interesting . His views on tariffs aren't accurate which others have pointed out. Trump references the "Green New Deal" for the cause of higher oil prices. There was no such legislation, it was a concept. Also he is now taking credit for oil futures going to $0 during COVID which was primarily caused by demand destruction due to lockdowns. I guess they weren't as bad as some said.
Its all very well raising taxes, but is 10% enough to bring production back. If it's 20% then you've just increased the cost of goods by 20%+. Now let's consider that inflation is international, how do you square it that inflation is then voluntary. Try offering industry a way to make goods better and cheaper in the us.
