Congress simply doesn't have the power to do that and if they could, it would be highly inappropriate and I think every lawyer in the country would be sending out letters requesting congressional intervention on both sides of every single case every single day. That would amount to millions of letters a week, and wouldn't be just this one thing.
How can so many people get through college and law school still be so monumentally stupid? Maybe it's intentional because if they get their way here, that means that when they "prosecute everything Democrat" all the Democrats need to do is have a lawyer write a letter to Congress and that would end their prosecution.
Even if they win, they still lose. 😂

Here's the problem with the "Trump didn't know anything about the documents" defense, he literally demanded the documents back, saying they were his.
Congress had no authority over the DOJ. This request will be rejected.
