Someone has to 'bite the bullet' and send Trump into detainment awaiting trial …. He committed acts which have led to the indictment. Innocent until proven guilty, however, there is obviously more than enough to indict.
That is entirely the fault of Trump himself. All this flam about the POTUS election is just that, it is detritus, it is targetless flak being put up to cloud the issues.
However and ultimately, non-MAGA, non-GOP, non-Trumpian America, all you folks commenting here and elsewhere … Trump is your fault. You did not pressure your own politicos and judicary to act. All you do is keep on talking hoping something will save you.

DT stopped short of crossing the line and disobeying Judge Chutkan's order. IMO he played the victim mode with his statements. She is not being fair to me. She wants me in jail. She is not partisan yadda yadda. Those statements are not like "If you come after me, I'll come after you" or "I'll say whatever I want about these charges." Nor has he shared any "sensitive information" that he may have received on the charges. My two cents…she's watching him and I bet if he openly defies what she said not to do, she will speed up the trial or hold him in contempt. They also need to make an exception and televise the trial.
I honestly think that the United States is headed for a breakup similar to the Soviet Union in the 90's. A corrupt government trying to incarcerate an ex-president because they fear he will win.
Trump may try to flee the country he should be jailed as a precautionary measure and a preemptive strike!
What I'm worrying about is that if Trump finally convicted and jailed there will be no more daily entertainment.

Not correct. I have defended attorneys charged with insubordination toward the judge, and the line is clear. And he stepped over it. "I don't believe it!!" is OK. But "I don't believe YOU" is contempt of court. The Commissioner who charged my client with contempt is working at a Sees in Seattle.
