Former President Donald Trump is a day away from traveling to New York City to surrender to authorities on an expected list of criminal charges. He called the indictment an “assault on our nation” in a social media post as he awaits arraignment. He plans to return to Florida on Tuesday. NBC News’ Vaughn Hillyard has the story.
