It's pathetic that even after Trump calls for the termination of our Constitution, the GOP still won't condemn him. Even worse, they'd still support him as the presidential nominee. Where did their spines go? When will enough be enough? Does their oath of office mean absolutely nothing to them? It's time they grow some backbone and reject not just Trump but Trumpism as a whole from their party.

Who does this guy think he is going to sway to his side by suggesting that a candidate who calls for terminating the Constitution is a viable candidate because he lacks the power to do it? Joyce has to be thinking to himself that this is a reasonable strategy. He has to think that he'll retain more voters by presenting this non-argument than he would by simply saying that he does not support it.

Repubs haven't learned their lesson yet. They are STILL too cowardly to reject Trump. They are STILL trying to undermine the current administration, rather than doing anything productive. I voted straight blue for the first time in my life and will continue to do that, even if I don't agree with the Democratic positions. Yeah, inflation is a problem, but a bigger problem is the Repub threat to our Constitution and Democracy!

This illustrates why I have decided I will never vote Republican again in my life and at this point there is nothing that can be done to change my decision. Dave seemed rational and reasonable but in the end, it is clear he will always place the Republican Party over the interests of the country!
