i went to college on the GI bill. The VA never paid consistently usually a 6 to 9 month delay. Of course i would whine complain and go begging. it never made a difference. i took out a student loan and finally completed my degree it took me 5 years. eventually i re-enlisted. i was under the impression my loan obligation would be taken care of. i had ny battalion commander write a letter to the bank of america student loan. the
response was where was the seal. i’m sure the battalion commander used stationary with an appropriate letter heading
when i consider what the cost of an education is. w
