If by some nightmare the Supreme Court accepts the case and if they rule in his favor, there will undoubtedly be complete chaos in both the government and the public. It would represent a unification of the executive branch with the judicial branch against congress, effectively breaking the checks and balance system our entire government is built upon. So basically it would likely result in a complete collapse of our democracy.
