Andrew Weissmann, former FBI general counsel and senior member of the Mueller probe calls today’s hearing “largely irrelevant,” adding that is “not even a speed bump.”

One law is a key facet of the Espionage Act and relates to the removal of information pertaining to the US's national defense, the same kind of law that convicted the Rosenbergs in 1951, who were executed for treason 1953. Two other laws relate to the concealment or destruction of government records.
