After recent scares aboard airplanes and in airports, concerns are growing about weapons getting through TSA checkpoints. This year, the TSA expects to surpass an all-time record of guns found at checkpoints, but firearms aren’t their only concern. The TSA says it will deploy new technology at more airports in an effort to prevent dangerous objects from getting on planes.

What caught one who had 16 bullets in a weapon or 50 bullets armed and then he left by plane to England, I pray to Costa Rica, where he went anyway to Texas and to other European countries!
The TSA JUST took away my TSA approved electric lighter, even though their own website says it's an authorized item, and even though I've flown with it dozens of times, including at that same Airport earlier in the day but that flight got canceled. Good thing they're taking away approved s*** but not catching the actual weapons. Incompetent d*******.
Anyone with an undeclared firearm in their carryon luggage should serve 60 years in prison. That'll make the problem go away 100% guaranteed
When people are in the airports drinking and then they get on the plane and drink more you’re just going to have trouble that’s why it needs to be banned, if people can’t fly without alcohol they don’t need to fly.
Looks like TSA is going to have to ban all carryon’s because of crazy people, All that should be allowed is a woman’s purse and if you have a laptop and these items need to be fully searched before going through, And they have got to stop giving the alcohol on planes because this is where the problem comes in, I have witnessed people drinking on the planes then they get crazy after the alcohol all airlines need to ban that and it shouldn’t be sold in the airports permanently.

Deducting a small metal objects in very stressful environment is not as easy as people think. TSA is like going to the doctor, many times doctors miss diagnosing.
Get prepared to de-clothe at TSA checkpoints.
At this point, we all know that the TSA checkpoints are mostly 'theater' and are aimed at making passengers feel safe, rather than actually doing so. I believe the TSA and its agents are doing their best, but they just don't have the necessary technology and resources. Sadly, the shoes & belt removal is part of the theater and just holds up the lines while not aiding in safety.
How do people keep getting weapons on these planes???
We the people will investigate TSA by ourselves and deal with it accordingly. We will also arrest the TSA agent that allowed him to get this through the checkpoints
