I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot

Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.
I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.
In less than a week my crop was gone
I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!

You mean any entity, person or group besides yourselves, gain control, is what I believe they meant to say. They are ok with totalitarianism as long as it's them in charge.
Freedom of speech is imperative. Yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater is deadly. As the world teeters on the edge of a sixth mass extinction, FB and Twitter profit from the pushers of misinformation. Platforms must do more to combat the dishonesty our masses consume.
Twitter's board owns almost NO stock so they are only there for controlling speech.
Who wouldn’t want Elon to run the company? So dumb!

This is why no one should be able to hoard this kind of wealth. Elon is a snake and a market manipulator. First he inflates the stock by buying a majority share, then holds shareholders at gunpoint to sell him the rest or he'll bail and tank the stock. His "I alone can fix it" attitude is one shared with tyrants and authoritarians throughout history. Billionaires are not your friend!
You have been had, and have fallen for one of the oldest tricks in the book. He's played everyone, since his purchase the stock price is risen 27% he made $800 million in one day last week, trolling and triggering, with just a few tweets and declining a job offer. He is your daddy and people like you are going to make him the world's first trillionaire, he could cash out of Twitter tomorrow and take the money and do the exact same thing to Facebook or any other of your precious sounding boards. At this point any stock buys will have an immediate institutional buying frenzy to stop him from doing nothing. It's a thing of beauty watching you lose your minds.
The people who are scared of Elon Musk are those who crave Power, Control and Wealth above all. They're the type of people that should never have it, because they will use and abuse it to Lord over others just to give themselves the feeling of Superiority and Accomplishment. Elon Musk is the exact opposite of that, his Wealth, Control and Power, are a "Happy Accident" (to use the words of the late, great Bob Ross) that are the result of his achievements. He truly is a person that wants his Accomplishments to leave the World a better place for all to live in.
They are so afraid of free speech that they are willing to tank their stock. Crazy world.

The offer to join Gab is better. The problem is not just Twitter. It is Google, You Tube and Metaverse (FB, WhatsApp). Google can still cancel you, change history and censor free speech on the internet.
If I was Elon my business model would be Starlink (replaces the internet and solves the Google, You Tube and FB problem) and then take over Gab who already have an infrastructure with their own servers, a non-advertising model (so you are not controlled by corporate or politicians) etc.
Gab could be world class with a smaller investment ($2-5 billion) and build that out.
I would then do an IPO for Starlink. That would be a winning combination. That puts total communication, the Town Square and Speakers Corner back in the hands of the people.

I don't know how any of this works but I hope a lot of people will band together and buy it up once the poison pill kicks in and just sell it right to Elon. I feel very fortunate to be alive during the time of Elon Musk.
