Play stupid games and you win stupid prizes, their clue should have been the cops that were standing around. They have "NO QUALIFIED IMMUNITY" (lawsuit protection) to rely on and the video tells it all. If you are NOT the cops DON'T try to play like your the cops, it does NOT end well.

Thanks to qualified immunity, police get away with this type of negligence and incompetence all the time with no accountability. These emts should have become cops if they wanted to get away with hurting and abusing people

I think NBC News made a mistake here when they said "rushed" him to a hospital. It doesn't look like they were going to RUSH him anywhere!

The paramedics were very very mean…the way they talked to this drunk person was not right. .but just maybe they put him face down because he had alcohol poisoning {the news story said} Maybe they thought he might choke on vomit if he started vomiting on his back. Just like so many who are too drunk do. They shouldn't have strapped him down and then put his face into the gurney if he was that drunk. He suffocated. What a terrible thing. Too bad the people who lived there that called the paramedics were unable to drive him to the hospital themselves. I had a brother who used to get so drunk he would pass out and urinate on himself etc. and he had no memory of it from alcohol poisoning. The authorities and people that get called over and over get desensitized towards the alcoholic. Sometimes they are combative and other times they are just blacked out and passed out. My brother got help and went to rehab Thank God. ! So sad. I am so sad for the man that died and his family. Alcoholism kills.
