WPVI TV, the ABC affiliate in Philadelphia, is mourning the loss of two of their colleagues who were killed when the station’s helicopter crashed Tuesday night in New Jersey.

How awful! I have always thought of the risks these news crew members take, specially those flying on a regulat basis. RIP 😢
My younger brother was a copter news pilot. In 1988 he and he phitograher were killed in a crash when the copter hit unmarked electrical wires. This was in Colorado. My sympathy goes out to famiy and friends.

I was airlifted from one hospital to another about an hour away after a horrible car accident that broke my spine in 3 places broke my shoulder collar bone and cracked my sternum. First time ever flying and I’m literally strapped down so if anything happened I couldn’t brace myself. In and out of consciousness I was scared out my mind we’d crash.

Them having a "long history" with the department sounded more like an excuse for them dying than a sentimental statement.
Nobody seemed horrified or surprised or torn up inside that these fellas that had a long history with them died.
