Two officers who were charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide after restraining Elijah McClain plead not guilty. They are two of five first responders who were charged in McClain’s death. The three other responders will go to trial later this year.

I’ve noticed one thing when police stopping people and that is, they will try to blame the person for anything as an excuse to justify their actions. For example, one of the officer tells the other officer “he’s trying to grab your gun” and soon after all the officers pin him down to the ground. They just don’t like it when a citizen tries to practice his/her right because it hurts their ego and their power.
