The US spends more than 300 million dollars a month keeping the Ukranian economy afloat. The US pays government employees and military paychecks. The US pays pensions and social security checks. The US pay the medical premiums and deductibles for all Ukranians. In leaked intelligence documents last January Hersh reported that top Ukranian officials were mad because they thought Zelensky was taking an unfair share of stolen US monies. The CIA said Zelensky and top officials were taking these stolen funds and giving them to family and friends and moving them to offshore bank accounts. Although not tasked the CIA estimates that 30% to 40% of the weapons and munitions sent to Ukraine have ended up on the blackmarket. They said much of it was showing up in Africa for pennies on the dollar.
Russia is supported by Iran and North Korea. We should support Ukraine.
