Sorry but Russians should not be allowed special treatment unless they are the minority of people who have been persecuted with real violence and threat of death prior to the war like the Russian lgbt community. They may be against the war but most of them aren’t facing death, how do we really know that they are anyways and not just lying to take advantage or other nefarious plans? There hasn’t been any reports of protestors being killed in Russia. Mind you they are against the war but not against everything prior to that which begs further questioning. Just like we screened Syrians,iraq refugees for potential terrorism threats or ties to terrorist, the same scrutiny should be shown to the Russians since they are coming from a hostile foreign nation that we’ve been at odds for more than half a century that has used its people as weapons or plants. It might seem dumb or paranoid but It would only be fair. This hypocrisy on the color of migrants skin is getting to bold, even for liberal media. They dance over the vast differences brown migrants have faced at the boarder compared to Russians and Ukrainians. From the narrative/optics to the sheer overwhelming acceptance they get when they cross over. I understand the situation with Ukraine but Russians? We feel bad for them now? Ukrainians are the ones in dire need of help finding a safe haven….so why, are Russian people allowed over the border ahead of or with the Ukrainians they are not riddled with a war going on in their country, only under russian sanctions ….this is not a good scenario, and why do the Ukrainians need to even sleep at the US border for days and maybe weeks or more before they are given access to US as a safe place to go….Biden is not right doing things this way……this man is mad, his brain just doesn't work well enough to handle any crises….sad.
