I am not a military expert, but for what I know of military history, when you start blowing up your bridges to slow the enemy's advance, it is usually not a good sign.

Honestly, I'm starting to admire the Russians. You can tell that they have really begun to master military failure as an art form. It takes years of dedication and motivation to learn how to fail so spectacularly. 🤣
If you went back to the 1940's and got footage of the Germans blowing up bridges to slow the advance of the allies, that footage would be played in American theaters and framed as a great embarrassment to the German war effort.
