We should keep more attention to Jesus’ words reminding us His authority in heaven and on earth when He said: "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth, therefore…" However, a real problem is that Satan has been putting up maximum resistance to the authority of Jesus Christ on earth from the very moment that the Lord Jesus said those words. The result of Satan’s persistent opposition to Jesus’ authority determining proper human to human relationships has been tens of thousands of humans killing each other in Ukraine: Russians, Ukrainians plus other mercenaries from other nations.
On the other hand, we must continuously pray so that we could be instruments of Jesus who said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life….” (Juan 14:6). The purpose of our prayers should be that all of us who love God and His Holy Word could become channels through which truthfulness flows to such an extent that the empire of falsehoods, lies, error and war can be finally overthrown; our final goal should be that God's plan can finally be fulfilled in all the inhabitants of this earth according to Psalm 22 where through His Spirit, God has told us: "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will worship before of you (Psalms 22:27 RVR 1977) and John 8 where the Lord has promised us: "And you will know the truth and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 RVR 1977).
This is truly based on our belief that Jesus’ instructions of how we need to interact with each other are highly relevant for this world to avoid falling into a self-destructive war. We truly believe that Lord Jesus in his highest authority given to Him by God, has instructed us to do the following: “So in everything you treat others as you want them to treat you. In fact, this is the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12 NIV). The problem is that beginning with Russia and then continuing with Ukraine, many prefer to be under the authority of the devil, Satan, and instead of praying to our heavenly Father to be helped to follow the instructions of our Lord Jesus Christ, many people end up insisting on doing everything contrary to what Jesus asks; therefore, they end up with the very painful and sad experience of doing to others what they do not want others to do to them.
The best way to get out of the Russian-Ukraine attacks war dilemma is to acknowledge as truthful that al authority has been given to Jesus, pray to our Father in the name of Jesus so Zelenskyy and Putin get out of the viscous cycle of doing to other's army whatever they do not want done to their own army. We need to be reminded that Jesus is not only offering us to have eternal life if we believe in His words but that Russia and Ukraine will end up with less killed soldiers.❤
