United Houma Nation tribal members are resilient against climate change, resettlement



Predominantly Black and Brown neighborhoods in and around New Orleans are still reeling from the impact of massive hurricanes, like Ida and Katrina. Many of these communities are also impacted by the unequal burden of toxic pollution.

  6. Stop lying I live in Houma. Ida was bad but y’all went wayyyy down the bayou to dulac. Most of those house on stilts are CAMPS for shrimp boats. Y’all literally passed up all the suburbs and eastside and went to DULAC for a STORY lol
