what about cases that children were indeed been abused and parents purposely hiding from ACS? by the time you got the court order that child may already be dead… If parents have nothing to hide, show it then case closed.

Well it's a catch 22. Because if you don't get in and something happens. The caseworker liable. And a home who has nothing to hide can go through it quickly. The danger is overly zealous workers or workers who are prejudice. I did Contractual work in NYC your underpaid over work and tons of cases that drag through courts. Children in homes who get paid save money by homes later these children if they don't move with foster parents stay penniless and fade out. System needs to change if your receiving 1200. A month you should be for ed by law to put 200 or 300 away for child untouched
