Cities have been bastions of Democratic votes since always. Imagine if city voters completely abandon the Democratic Party in 2024.
On the national stage, New York is always considered to be a Blue State, but that is ONLY because the city populations vastly outnumber the rural populations. If New York State had an Electoral College that allowed each voting district an independent vote, the state would be a RED Republican State.
Perhaps in 2024, New York will switch from Blue to Red on the national stage. Voters who switch to Donald Trump might go right down the line voting for ALL Republicans on their ballot. Many down-ticket Democrats may find themselves voted out.
