This is a joke. Go back two days. Several guests stated they had seen a man escorted from the party because he was packing and had once pulled it. That's your shooter. So, these people saw him, those he threatened saw him, and those who escorted him away saw him.
The people at this party won't help themselves. They have just made themselves as dangerous as the shooter. Because someone willing to have done this is capable of anything.

Condolences to the families and those involved. This act of violence wad senseless. However, if I may offer wisdom to similar situations, the family should have set a curfew or an end time to the party. The party should have ended at 7 pm. The lack of boundaries in our lives causes major drama.
This mass shooting could have been avoided by ending the party early. If you plan to have alcoholic beverages at a party then you will increase the risk of having more violent incidents.
I think someone got upset because they ran out of birthday cake, or there was too much mayonnaise on their finger sandwich. Or maybe the french fries were cold! Who knows?!
