An urgent search is underway in Alabama for 25-year-old Carlethia “Carlee” Russell, who went missing on Thursday night after police say she called 911 to report seeing a toddler walking alone on the side of the highway. NBC News’ Priscilla Thompson reports.

New York Times: The woman, Carlee Russell, showed up at her family’s front door on Saturday night, knocked and was greeted by her stunned relatives, said Nicholas Derzis, the police chief in Hoover, a suburb of Birmingham. He said he was not sure how Ms. Russell got there, but nobody was with her when she arrived. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Wow . This is horrible. We need more information. They used a child for bate. They had to have a vehicle close by .To put her into. And they did not take her purse or cell phone. So not a robbery. If it was for money they would wanted her credit cards and cash and her car.

She said it was a toddler on the side of the road. So the baby's not in school? I would look for recently born babies if she said the ethical background That would help Then she said it was walking on the side of the road.
By itself show the baby currently being one years old. Maybe 2 if it's still look like a baby. Go back 1 to 3 years, find out anybody who had babies put a tail on them And of course, the family and friends would have to assist with this.

I saw a report that she has been found alive.
This is terrifying. Something dangerous happened to that woman & the longer she’s lost, the worse the outcome. I’m wondering if someone used that baby to bait a passerby. I don’t usually jump on the news notices, but when this one popped up, I instantly hopped on board. I’m not religious, but I’ll take a minute for silence and my strongest wishes that this young woman be found quickly and safely. Her people must be living in horror right now. We sure do have loads of predators in this country! All kinds!
