Applaud his optimism, but he's living in a dream world unfortunately. Where does he think electricity comes from? Power plants running on coal or natural gas. How does he think batteries for ev's are made? Mining for raw materials using rigs powered by fossil fuels. Many major countries still use 100% coal fired power plants. Even if all countries in this world sign up tomorrow, climste change is gonna be an ongoing problem for many decades.

What the climate activists fail to understand is they lack any substantiative evidence of a "tipping point." That would really help them with their argument. It is analogous to the religious nutjobs citing the bible about the end of times, yet there is no given date.
We are currently in the Holocene Era, the ending of the last ice age. Naturally we have zero control over what the atmosphere is going to do, we can contribute, but it's more like an Orchestra that takes many instruments in concert.
These "record" highs are only human documented records, it never takes into account the billions of years of overwhelming evidence that the earth constantly pollutes itself with larger volumes of green house gases than any civilization could ever wish to produce.
You know what has appeared in the beginning of the Holocene Era? The Sahara Desert. If that doesn't paint a picture of what nature is capable of doing in less than 10,000 years, I don't know what more proof anyone needs to observe that we have no control over this situation.
