His work from home thesis is wrong. Businesses will trim fat if the economy tanks and they've already seen the savings they get from remote work. Utilities and real estate are not cheap especially if a company owns a business in a state like CA or NY with higher wages + utilities why would they continue this outdated model when they can pay someone in a lower wage state less without paying any additional overhead?
