The parents of a Utah teen are calling on a state board of education member to resign after she falsely inferred their daughter is transgender. KSL’s Shelby Lofton reports.

I was this girl when I was a teenager (it started at age11 to be exact)
In the 80'-90's I was horribly bullied because I was a tomboy, i had short hair, i was 6' tall and played basketball, whenever it happened to me though I was just kicked off the team.
Im glad this girls parents aren't letting this type of bullying happen to their daughter.
To the young lady that is experiencing this: Don't ever think on any of the hateful things that are said, you know who you are inside and out and they're all just jealous of your talent and beauty! Those people aren't the ones that matter anyway, the family and the people who are lifting you up are the ones that matter, anyone else is just a cace in the crowd.✌🏻💚

The crazy thing is that this politician felt like it was appropriate to attack a child in the first place.
But what makes me certain she enjoyed it was how tone-deaf and callous she was in her "apology". She didn't state that bullying is wrong and she'll do better next time, no…she blamed "the push to normalize transgenderism" instead of taking accountability for her actions. Not "sorry", she just used the negative publicity to attack the kid again.
Adults bullying children is gross, and we shouldn't tolerate it.

That’s so tough for a teen. I was mistaken for a boy at 13 (mother cut all the kids hair in a bowl cut) and I felt so humiliated. It affected me forever.. very sad someone powerful brings the haters out. Plus Dangerous in this day and times
