I don’t believe he couldn’t have found his way home if he had wanted to. Something’s wrong with this story.
Somthing dosnt feel right about this
StepDad…."holy c#$%p"😑
Something is off
"i will definitely do my best to bring him home" HUH??
I am so glad he is alive and his mom so happy, I am Mother of autistic daughter.
he was old enough to know what he was doing.. somthing wasnt going his way at home i guess. no video games bed time early haha
Clearly he can speak fine. Has anyone asked him what happened in regards to getting lost?
Something is very sus . I feel like he didnt want to be found
Why is no one talking about why he went missing? I'm from the next County over in Mendocino and I never heard about this case. But something about all of this feels odd. Especially the fact that the mother didn't go get her own kid who miraculously is still alive. You couldn't stop me if that was my kid.

Sorprendente .
The father dropped him in Salt Lake City to get rid of him. Cops say he refused to go home because of the abuse. This ain’t a happy story. Look at those fake tears of the mother. They even moved to Idaho in case he tries to come back.
Wow cops doing a good job??? What!!!
Thank God for the calm and broadminded officers and thank God he is now reunited with his family. Mental awareness, dignity and respect, and understanding sometimes is all that is needed for someone acting strangely or showing abnormal and sometimes aggressive or belligerent behavior.
I have an autistic nephew and his autism is acute. I have read many of the comments below and I find people too suspicious. My sister made her son memorize his address but that doesn't mean he could find the house if he got lost. If strangers tried to talk to him,he wouldn't communicate with them unless they knew in what circumstances he will respond. Do you think a cop would know that they had to give him a choice of answers….as in "Do you like chicken or beef?"…and if you didn't give him a choice it would confuse him so he would just shut down. If a cop put his hands on him he'd probably screech bloody murder and he'd probably get tassed. I'm not an authority on autism and I know each person with autism is different but I wonder why most of you are so negative and suspicious about this boys' circumstances. I'm glad for this family….hopefully no one took advantage of him and he'll be eager to go home. Also, that police man knew this kid used to have a shopping cart. He was familiar with him….maybe other cops knew him too and it's very possible that one or more tried to take him to a shelter or hospital or…whatever. Why is it so hard to understand he didn't want to go some place else with someone who would take him somewhere he didn't want to go.

Bet-cha the polio vaccines gave him autism. "Yeah, I said it". It's the truth. Those phucks tried to give me autism with the polio vaccine.
God is So Good … Thank You. JESUS.♥️😇🙏😁✌💚❤
Thanks to the police officer
Being autistic myself this is amazing traveled 700 miles in 3 years that's crazy.
I cried when I heard the mothers voice, it breaks my heart, thank goodness 😅 for these great police officers
Utah = increase Mormon cult traffickers🤠🤠🤠
I feel like that's a story for a novel or a film.
Excellent police work. So happy for the teen's mom and family.
I am so curious about what happened over the missing 3 years.
But… when I read the comments…. now I wonder how he got "lost" in the first place. Hoping for the best, but it doesn't sound like it.
It would be great if some day he could tell us about his three years. ❤️👌👍✌️❤️
Sounds like he ran away from home.
So a teen ran away from home…
Finally a good ending.💙💕💕💙
Why are they not covering the protest in California ??????
I am so glad he was found!!!. However!, this is marketing B$%%%; if this gut was any other minority….these animals would have ATTACKED him.
I don't want to seem insensitive, because I'm sure the situation is complicated. However, this whole thing seems off. The man (and I say man because he is 19) seems like he is with it enough to hold an intelligent conversation and make decisions, despite his autism. He knew where his parents were for the last 2+ years, yet chose not to contact them or attempt to go home. Something was going on in that home that the kid ran from when he was a minor; now that he is of age, it is up to him what he wishes to do. If, as they say, it wasn't a case of kidnapping, then the kid (now adult) CHOSE to stay away, unlike most who leave in an adolescent fit of pique and return when calmer. I am definitely glad he is ok, but I would like to see an interview with just him and a journalist to hear what his side of the story is.
It's a good thing he was white. Police had a similar encounter with a black guy with autism recently and brought him home in a body bag because they feared for their lives.
It was the Step Dad that abandoned him where they found him was on the way from where they lived when he disappeared and where they lived when they found him
There is so much more to this??????
GOD BLESS HIM HES ALIVE N THEY FOUND HIM🙏🏼
Thanx to the police they found him n he still alive, got bless him🙏🏼i do also have an 15 yr old autistic son n with everything going on i do watch him n make sure hes ok n safe n he is ALWAYS!
this story is heartbreakingly awesome, our guys in blue did what we all aspire them to be for our communities & in doing so, they saved a young mans life(a boy really)… cant imagine what the back story is but what i do know is, his future story gonna be epic… 😌🥲😇
Wow that's some great police work!!!
Why did he leave?
Crazy story.
Something strange about this case. Can you go get him? Sorry even if I was bedridden id be making my way to where my boy was at.
