The community of Uvalde held an emergency city council meeting. District Attorney Christina Busbee, now overseeing the Uvalde mass shooting investigation, has yet to speak publicly. Newly elected council member Pete Arredondo, Robb Elementary School’s Police Chief, was also absent at the meeting. Officials recently found that Arredondo didn’t have his police radio during the shooting.

Pete Arredondo is a known coward and is in fear of his life. He now cowers (somewhere) in fear. Uvalde Council members are only marginally better and the mayor should be charged in the criminal cover up of the most vile and criminal failure of Texas law enforcement history. Certainly these politicians have other crimes they fear will be revealed.

FYI: Over 110 people are shot and killed every day in America. That works out to 770 people massacred every week. A 747 can hold 524 people. Which means aa FULLY LOADED 747 could only hold 68% of the people murdered per week. At 770 people per week comes to 40,040 per year!

I swear this man better have free counseling for the rest of his life. I cannot imagine how deep the survivors guilt goes when you lose all of your students and do you survive. I can’t imagine how tough that would be as somebody who has worked in education and childcare my entire working life. My automatic assumption is that there are going to be days that he wishes he didn’t survive. My heart really breaks for him because this is not his fault, this is firstly the fault of the shooter and more broadly the fault of a system that allows for mentally unstable impulsive 18-year-olds to purchase weapons meant for a war. And it goes without saying that this trauma is clearly compounded by the negligence of the Uvalde Police Department and the cowardice/inhumanness of the overall government in Texas all the way up to the governor who continuously lies, ducks and dodges.
