This poor lady. She was getting blamed and hate…then the real footage came out and witnesses and police couldn't hide any longer. Those officers are COWARDS and PATHETIC. Especially the officer that lost his daughter in the shooting because he was too scared to loose his life to save kids.
Proves that law enforcement is the biggest and most ruthless gang out there making this poor lady take the blame for their inaction and incompetence.
The shooter could just shoot the glass and walk on through. Nobody in the faculty of that school should ever be put to blame for this. You can't blame someone else for someones choice to do wrong. Why did they always blame the victims first?
LE had the video, watched the video, then lied about what was on the video. Don’t give them benefit of the doubt saying maybe they didn’t watch it. It was a tactical, flat out lie.

Okay, but ALL before, during, and after school staff members are SUPPOSED to be trained to NEVER prop an EXTERIOR door open. Anyone can easily walk in WHILE a door is propped open. I know this wasn't the case here, but it is still an issue worth noting. I guess, the gate around the entrance of this tragic event provided her with a false sense of security. The lesson here is to NEVER prop a school door open EVER.
If anyone is blaming anybody at that school they're fucking insane. This is the fault of the murderer and the lack of urgency from police.
The TX DPS has no idea what they did to this poor woman by trying to place blame on her actions. I’m a teacher as well and from the moment I heard that narrative I knew it couldn’t be true. Making sure your outside access doors are closed is school shooter prep 101.

Anyone can see in the video the door was closed but not locked. It wasn't her responsibility to lock an exterior door.

If the door failed to login is a failure of the maintenance department, not that lady she did everything she could so not only get these cops botch go in there and stop in this punk. They also traumatizes for woman. These cops don’t deserve to have their badge.

Ms. Marin, YOU did EXACTLY what a caring, loving, diligent teacher would have done. You saw a threat, you kicked the rock out, closed the door, and called the police. You did nothing nothing wrong. Had a cop given you a gun, I’m certain you would have had the courage to shoot the killer. Something that they were trained to do and failed miserably. Uvalde tragedy lies squarely on Texas police state—not you!
There are a lot of people you could blame. Police aren't responsible for your kids.
