victims in the Uvalde mass shooting and an employee of Robb Elementary are
questioning Daniel Defense’s marketing practices and whether they were
targeting children. The New York Times reported transcripts from 911
calls revealing a 10-year-old student, Khloie Torres, asking police to help her
teacher, who was shot. Overnight, school officials confirmed that Robb
Elementary will close its doors permanently as the town gathers for the

Looks like the Democrats have found some more mourning pawns for their politics. Shouldn't they be demanding answers from the stand-around police?
You go, Greg Abbott and the rest of the GOP. You get that NRA blood money bag. F**k the safety of the children. Your holding on to power is way more important than the lives of these defenseless kids. Keep that age of buying AR-15s at age 18 with no background checks whatsoever, Governor Abbott. And while you're at it, why not just drop the age to buy mass murder guns to 15.

PICK YOUR ISSUE: Abortion; Dark money, Drug Cost; Economy; Gun Control; Healthcare; Immigration; Gerrymandering; Voting, etc.
They have one thing in common. None of these problems get solved year after year because of the great political divide. This is the real reason no solutions have been implemented.
The real solution to solve all these problems is a TWO TERM LIMIT for the House and the Senate. SERVING IN CONGRESS SHOULD NOT BE A CAREER OPTION. New blood offers new ideas and a better understanding of current culture and technology. Newer members tend to be more responsive to constituents during their first term. This political problem must be solved. The Executive branch as a two- term limit. The Judicial branch does not but maybe should have a 20-year terms limit. Keeping justices on the bench for life no longer ensures stability since old precedents are now being abandoned.
Different groups support dealing with some but not all of these problems. Support is fractured at best. Each group fights its own battle. Politicians swear an oath to support the Constitution, follow the laws and support the interest of their constituents. Constituents should include ALL citizens within their district not just the people who voted for them or their party. Many politicians also swear an allegiance to their party. To which oath are they really loyal? Which is more important? Politicians ignore the will of the majority.
Lobbyist from special interest groups immediately try to “buy” the influence of members. When they are successful, they get more “bang for the buck” if their “buy-partisan” member is re-elected. There may be less incentive for members to be influenced after their first term. A five-year ban preventing a member from working for any lobbyist or related organizations contributing to the member may a deterrent. Lobbyists and party leaders would have to re-start their influence buying all over after each election. Dark money corrupts. They say companies are people too – but they can give more than you. No matter what they say – they’ll buy votes anyway.
During this period when democracy seems ever more fragile, changes must be made to ensure the “minority” does not take control or disrupt the functioning of the government. Current Senate rules allow a single senator to object to any bill without cause or debate. A solution may not even receive a vote. A minority party can defeat any of the solutions to address important issues supported by the majority of Americans. With sworn loyalty to a party, the political interests of a party supersede the interests of the country. The majority of Americans will lose.
There are practical solutions for the problems if we do elect candidates who have demonstrated bi-partisanship and not “buy-partisanship”. We have tried the current systems for abot 200 years and maybe it is time to try two-term limits for Congress.

The police chief is probably a Democrat told his officers to stand down in an off-duty border patrol had to go intervene I'm pretty sure most parents in the school are smart enough to look into that you find a handful of parents there to that stupid and give them air time
