Okay we were on the carnival dream last year when we rescued people that happen to be on the coast of Belize, whose boat capsize from an excursion. Why didn’t that story make the news??
There's a taxi type boat that runs between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Not that I'd want to be in a sinking ship, but for the 17 people, their chances of being saved were likely better than being in the middle of the ocean
Lucky is an understatement!
This is an excellent way to teach your children how very lucky they are to live in a country where you're saving money for a cruise and not to desperately leave your situation.
…. this is sus…
Always have a back up plan before you go out in the ocean
So all you gotta do for a free cruise is paddle in a kayak in the middle of the ocean?
What's that land in the distance? Could be fake news for Jubilee to get some advertising. Two able bodied guys that's hardly a rescue.
Angels watching over them
"our boat sank, but were here to see if you're interested in extending your warranty."
Mexico never Reports much so tourists… won’t stop going I have family in Cancun and it’s Bad…
Life saving sighting
All cruise ship should be coast guard
This happens much more than you think…….thank you crew and passengers for helping out other human beings in need.
Thats a great feel good story❤
This happens regularlyl often between Cuba and the US. THe ships pick up the people in distress and turn them over to the US Coast Guard before arrival in the US. In this case, the ship was closer to Mexico and it would appear that the men were Mexican nationals. Good that they were rescued….but it is NOT unusual.
