See something, say something. The student should not have been suspended.
Racists slurs: Bad.
Illegally occupying American Indian lands: Good?
Boondocks called it
Does this kind of behavior surprise me out of Springfield Missouri schools? NO, not at all! You should hear the people here in SW Missouri. It is sickening to hear how racist they are here. I get into arguments weekly with people over this kind of behavior!
When I was in school this teacher would have caught some hands. ๐คฃ He would have got to say it one time…..then๐ค๐๐ค๐
I fully support her
This is why Local School Councils (LSCs) are so important.
Parents need to get REGULARLY involved with our school systems.
The whistleblower protection laws needs to be extended to students it seems.
What is it about classrooms that makes school officials so scared of being recorded?
I applaud the bravery of the students & what is he teaching that he needs to use that slur. I bet he's not using it in front of blk students
Public schools are racist.
OH MY GOD! Someone was called a bad name. Oh, POOR BABIES!! Did they catch any of the BLACK students SPEAKING RACIAL EBONICS by chance?
I agree with her mother; "Good recording!"
It seems this was a burning question for the teacher, instead of asking his teenage students, he could have asked adults.
I can say it whenever I want!
I would have gladly took that three day suspension for the greater good.
Shout out to the student ๐ช๐พ๐ช๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ. And how about students canโt have cell phones until after school since she got suspended. Phones have good use but can be a distraction also
Video cameras are used routinely in the work place. Why aren't they permitted in public schools to prevent abuse of our students?
Mary got suspended? Absolutely insane. She's the equivalent of a whistleblower. What if this video never surfaced huh? That teacher would still be doing the same thing and the school board would chalk it up to "oh well it's their word versus his and he's a teacher".
Shame on all ya houses!
Yeah I hate those nekaz too yo
Thatโs just like school district upholding stupidity
I used to go to a school where one of the teachers used to make that kind of comments ALL the time ๐ and whenever we told our parents and they call to the school or talk to her about the issues she would pretend that we had misunderstood what she meant or that didn't say anything and that we were upset and making things up just to get even with her ๐ฌ I wish we could have cellphones back then ๐ฌ I would have taken the risk of being suspended for recording her rude comments
I believe it cause itโs Missouri which is better known as misery! Itโs a giant white supremist state run by lying, cheating, thug racists!
Someone pls, make a GO FUND ME FOR MARY !!! X-LLLL
She deserves to know she rid the right thing! ๐
Mary got suspended for… catching the crime and thus having proof? smh- I hope her family sues, that's utter bs X-L
โGood Troubleโ was a phrase coined by Rep. John Lewis, a leader in the civil rights movement (as a teenager), arrested several times for nonviolent protests and later a Congressman and recipient of the Medal of Freedom. RIP John Lewis
