Vermont state troopers rescued an 8-year-old who was drowning in a frozen pond. One trooper jumped into the freezing pond to find the child drowning. The child was taken to a hospital where she was treated for injuries and made a full recovery.

Yes, you hear her partner telling her to take off her clothes, which is exactly what you should do in freezing weather after plunging into water.

Amazing rescue.
We lost a soldier off duty after he saw a car plunge into a frozen river and immediately jumped into rescue a dad and his two sons. They survived. He didn’t.
Props to Trooper’s Keith Cote and Michelle Archer as well as the 80 year old property owner for acting so quick and saving this child’s life!
