Volunteers in Winsted, Connecticut, are looking for homes for 200 cats that were found in a house in June after police received an anonymous call about a sick animal. WVIT’s Briceyda Landaverde has the details.

Cat hoarders don't really realize how much they are harming these animals. They may start out with good intentions, but then it becomes compulsion. Then they seem to just click out and don't realize how dangerous to not only their own health but to the animals health things have become.
90% of them will be killed at those shelters within 3 to 5 days. That's what they call a 'rescue operation'.

I've got close to this many cats, no it isn't hard, and no it doesn't take hours to do the litter, 3 boxes and some cleaning tht it, also happy spooky month!!!
There are homeless Americans on the streets, how about making an effort to help them? But why bother when 200 cats are here…

Just bc the cats are feral doesn’t mean they’re attracted to that house on their own. I suspect there’s a human person involved, who is a cat or animal hoarder bc they’re lonely but haven’t figured out they’re doing it wrong. One or two cats per household is the norm,not 200.
